Grief and Loss Counseling

Grief is a deeply personal journey that doesn’t follow a set timeline or rulebook. Whether you're grieving a loved one, a life change, or something you can't quite put into words, I'm here to offer support as you navigate the waves and find your way forward.

Grief isn’t something

you can just “get over.”

It’s deeply personal, and it touches every part of your life in ways you may not even realize. Whether you’re mourning the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a life transition, or a dream that didn’t go the way you hoped, grief has a way of making us feel untethered.

You don’t have to go through it alone.

Grieving is a process—one that unfolds differently for everyone. There’s no timeline, no right way to feel, and no magic formula to make it easier. But there is space for you here, to feel your emotions fully and process them without judgment.

What Grief Can Feel Like

Grief can come in waves—some days, you might feel okay, and then, out of nowhere, a memory or a reminder knocks the wind out of you. It can feel like:

  • Numbness or detachment from others

  • Anger or frustration at the world

  • A deep sadness that lingers or resurfaces

  • Isolation or feeling misunderstood by people around you

  • Confusion about your future, your purpose, or your identity

Whatever you’re feeling, it’s valid. And sometimes, talking about it with someone who understands the complex layers of grief can help you start to find your footing again.

How We’ll Work Together

Grief can be heavy, but you don’t have to carry it alone. Together, we’ll explore your grief in a way that honors your unique experience. Whether your loss is recent or something you've carried for a long time, we’ll create space to process those emotions at your own pace.

  • Gentle Exploration:
We’ll take time to talk through what your loss means to you and how it’s affecting your life today.

  • Tools for Coping:
I’ll offer practical tools and techniques to help you navigate the hardest moments.

  • Finding Meaning:
We’ll also explore how to integrate your loss into your life in a way that helps you move forward, without forcing a timeline.

You might not be able to "fix" the pain, but together we can help make it more manageable, and eventually, help you rediscover moments of peace, connection, and even joy again.

Specialized Support for Different Types of Loss

Grief looks different depending on the type of loss you’re experiencing. Whether you’ve lost a loved one, are grieving a life change, or are navigating ambiguous losses (like losing a sense of self or identity), I’ll meet you where you are.
